Ruby OLLENDICK and Larry SMITH were married on 15 December 1979.4,22,23 Larry SMITH was born on 10 February 1950 in Waukegan, Lake County, IL.23 He died on 30 August 2015 at the age of 65 in Warrens Mills, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.23

Obituary Notes: "Larry M. Smith, 65, of Warrens died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. He was born Feb. 10, 1950, to Windell O. and Nettie L. (Long) Smith in Waukegan, Ill.

On Dec. 15, 1979, Larry was united in marriage to Ruby Ollendick at St. James Catholic Church in Camp Douglas. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army active duty during Korea and Vietnam. Larry was an owner and operator of Larry’s Auto body Shop.

Larry loved each child and grandchild to the fullest! He took each one of them fishing as he was able, and was always good for a story. He always made sure everyone’s needs came first, no matter what the issue may have been. Larry was the most kind and loving man anyone could ask to meet. Life is never fair, it is a cruel world, but he is in a better place with no more pain and hard times.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of Warrens; Annette (Rick) Phillips of Warrens; Richard (Deanna) Siess of Camp Douglas; Jenny Larson (Mike Watters) of Sparta; Larry “Chip” W. Smith of Warrens; and David Smith of Tomah; 10 grandchildren, Ryan, James, Miranda, Lyndsi, Garrett, Hailey, Jaden, Hunter, Trysten and Dylan. He is further survived by many brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law; countless nieces, nephews; other relatives; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Windel and Nettie; three brothers, Eddy, Dean and Tommy; his father-in-law, Ted Ollendick; and his mother-in-law, Hilda Ollendick.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, rural Oakdale. The Reverend Robert M. Letona will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church. A Parrish rosary will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home."
