"William" RUECKHEIM and Emilie BUCHHOLZ, was born on 19 January 1917 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.49 She died on 15 October 2004 at the age of 87 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.49 Obituary Notes: "Frieda C. Reeck, 87, of Wilton, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at the home of her son in Sparta. She was born Jan. 19, 1917, to William and Amelia (Buchholz) Rueckheim in the Town of Wellington. She was united in marriage to Marvin Reeck on Nov. 9, 1936, at South Ridge. They farmed until 1977 when they retired due to the failing health of Marvin. They sold the cropland but continued to live on the farm. Freida was an active and faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilton and a loving and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother She is survived by two sons, Marvin Jr. (Anna Nell) of La Crosse and David (Anita) of Sparta; five grandchildren, Dennis (Mary) and Steve Reeck; Susan (Randy) Mathe; Rachel and Paul Reeck; three great-grandchildren, Jenny (Seth) Hatz, Shana Reeck and Hayli Mathe; a brother, Gilbert Rueckheim of Tomah; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; seven brothers, Walter, Bernard, Hugo, Frank, Art, Alfred and Leonard, and one sister, Elsie Morley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wilton. Pastor Ryan Fletcher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Smith-Nelson Funeral Home, Wilton, on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service."
