"Bill" PONGRATZ and Marie ZIEGLER were married on 25 November 1933.7 Marie ZIEGLER, daughter of Fredrick ZIEGLER and Minnie Auguste NICKE, was born on 8 November 1915 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.7 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.12 She died on 12 November 2003 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.7 Obituary Notes: "Marie Pongratz, 88, of Tomah, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the Serenity House in Tomah. She was born the daughter of Fred and Minnie Ziegler on Nov. 8, 1915, in Tomah. She is survived by her son, Fred "Fritz" Pongratz of Tomah; three grandchildren, Tori (Jesse) Lain of Oshkosh, Scott Radtke of Milwaukee and Randy (Tonya) Pongratz of Mondovi; one great-grandchild, Jozi Pongratz; also a son-in-law, Charles Ratke of Oshkosh. Marie was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor Phillip Enderle will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Torkelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements." William F.
