12. Joanne Marie PONGRATZ² was born on 7 May 1935.^2,16 She died on 21 February 2010 at the age of 74 in Grand Blanc, Genesee County, MI.¹⁶ Obituary Notes: "Joanne M. (Pongratz) Racheff, age 74, of Grand Blanc, MI, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at her residence.

She was the beloved wife for 49 years of Bennett (Nick) Racheff; loving mother of James R. Racheff and wife Tracy M. (Kreminski) Racheff of Frederick, MD, and Amy J. ( Racheff) Lendzion and husband Brett A. Lendzion of Grand Blanc, MI; dear grandmother of Andrew Lendzion, Bryan Lendzion, Emily Lendzion and Brady Lendzion of Grand Blanc, MI, and Emerson Racheff and William Racheff of Frederick, MD; .sister of John D. Pongratz and wife Ruth E. (Uischner) Pongratz of Caledonia, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland D. Pongratz, Florence M. (Dana) Pongratz and brother James R. Pongratz of Warrens, WI.

According to her wishes, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Road Chapel, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, MI."
