57. Augustus Ferdinand PURDY was born on 24 June 1823 in Elbridge, Onondaga County, NY. He appeared in the census in 1860 in Hallsport, Allegany County, NY.³² in Centerville Township. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Hume, Allegany County, NY.³³ Augustus died on 13 December 1909 at the age of 86. He was buried in Fillmore County, MN.

Augustus Ferdinand PURDY and Celia Amanda BUTLER were married before 1880.³³ Celia Amanda BUTLER was born on 22 September 1832 in Delaware.^11,33 (The 1880 Census listed her birth place as New York.) She died on 17 May 1920 at the age of 87.¹¹
