He appeared in the census in 1920 in Unity, Marathon County, WI.¹⁷⁰ His occupation appears to have been listed as "House Carpenter." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Unity Township, Clark County, WI.¹⁷¹ His occupation was "Farm Laborer, General Farming." Eddie died on 14 March 1957 at the age of 85 in Marshfield, Wood County, WI.^68,167
