He was born on November 28, 1913, to Leslie and Lettie (Purdy) Hart in the Grant Township, Monroe County, Wisconsin. Royal was born and grew up in the Tomah area, attending High School in Mauston and Tomah. He worked for the railroad in Tomah, then moved to Milwaukee and worked for over 25 years as a machine builder for the Ladish Co. He lived most of that time in Brookfield with his family. At retirement he purchased a farm in the Warrens area, and later moved to live for five years with his daughter Sandra in Maryland. For the last eight months Royal lived with his son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Pat. Royal loved hunting, fishing, gardening and canning. He is survived by his son, Dennis (Patricia) Hart of Hartland, WI and daughter Sandra Huss of Berlin, Maryland; grandchildren Jason Hart, Kathryn Petska; John W. Huss, and Jennifer K. Miller. He is also survived by a brother, Theodore (Bud) Hart of Oshkosh, WI; and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lettie; his first wife, Doris; and second wife, Vivian; his brothers and sisters, Robert, Nita, Tootsie and Leslie. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005, 9:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah, WI. Burial will follow in the La Grange Cemetery. " Royal was buried on 17 December 2005 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.57 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery. Royal Irving Charles HART and Doris Gertrude KENYON (`) (~) were married on 3 April 1937.39,57 Doris Gertrude KENYON (`) (~), daughter of Charles Martin KENYON and Harriet Ann SHOOKMAN, was born on 15 July 1916 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.39,57,86 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.54 She died on 30 July 1965 at the age of 49 in Brookfield, Waukesha County, WI.30,39,57,255 She was killed in a car accident. Doris was a school teacher in Monroe County, WI.39,57 She was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.123 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.
