Dale Eugene WILDES (~) was born on 19 March 1927 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.27,86,199 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.54 He died on 9 March 1991 at the age of 63.45,181 Dale was buried in Racine, Racine County, WI.181 in the West Lawn Memorial Park.

Dale Eugene WILDES (~) and Louise M. PHILLIPS were married on 3 January 1946.201,332 Louise M. PHILLIPS, daughter of Ira Eugene PHILLIPS and Ruby K. SMOOT, was born on 13 October 1926 in Maple Valley, Oconto County, WI.332 She died on 2 June 2009 at the age of 82 in Racine, Racine County, WI.332

Obituary Notes: "Louise M. Wildes, 82, was called by the Lord to be reunited with her late husband Dale, her one true love, on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Louise was born on Oct. 13, 1926, in Maple Valley, WI, the oldest daughter of 13 children to Ira and Ruby (Smoot) Phillips.

Louise was united in marriage to Dale E. Wildes on Jan. 3, 1946. She was an active church member of the former Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was very involved in the church choir, Women’s Club, and taught Sunday School. Louise found her place in life dedicating everything to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She gave freely and willingly her support and love to her immediate family, extended family and all who had the privilege and joy of knowing her. Her talents and joy in and outside of her home were passed down to all who met and loved her.

Louise is survived by two sons, Eugene (Christine) Wildes of Menomonie and David (Nancy) Wildes of Racine, and two daughters, Linda (Larry) Krahn of Black River Falls and Doreen (Jeffrey) Burnside of Franklin; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Alice and Barbara, and two brothers, Floyd and Leonard. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Louise was preceded in eternal life by her husband, Dale Wildes on March 9, 1991; her brothers Alan (KIA) USMC, serving in the Korean Conflict, Carl, Herb, Dean and Les.

Louise was a resident of Racine for almost 50 years; she was employed at Southern Wisconsin Center and Westview Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Sturino Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment next to her husband Dale will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be visitation at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 6, from 9:30 to service time at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Fleming of Evangelical United Methodist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Parkinson’s Association would be greatly appreciated by the Wildes family." She was buried in Racine, Racine County, WI.181 in the West Lawn Memorial Park.
