Gerald Marten PEDERSEN (`) (~) was born on 28 June 1938 in Monroe County, WI.⁸⁶ He died on 25 February 2023 at the age of 84.³³⁶ Obituary Notes: "Gerald Pedersen, 85, of Warrens, WI, died February 25, 2023. On January 28, 1938, Gerry was born to Christian (Chris) and Delia (Purdy) Pedersen. He was a part of the Tomah high school graduating class of 1954. After graduating he went to Stout University, graduating with a degree in Industrial Arts.

After graduating Gerry taught high school Industrial Arts in Houghton, MI. Gerry taught for a few years then came to the VA Hospital in Tomah to teach Industrial Arts to our veterans.

Gerry was united in marriage to Merrylin in 1966, having three kids. He later spent the rest of his teaching career at the VA hospital until retirement. He was often described as a dependable, kind man, who was also a devout Christian. Known to always be there to lend a hand to friends and family. He also had a love for his horses and farming.

He is survived by his wife, Merrylin and his three children, Craig (Jennifer), Jody (Todd), and Eric (Amy), three grandchildren, Heather (Hunter), David and Isaac, a brother-in-law, Duane and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Delia, his brother, Gene (Marie), and his sister, Jenny (Duane).
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday March 11, 2023, from 11:00AM until 2:00PM Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monroe St. Tomah, WI. There will be a prayer service held at 12:00 Noon. Paster Cass Shell will officiate. A burial will be at a later date."
