Karl Friedrich Wilhelm "Charles" RADLOFF was born on 7 June 1824 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,2,3,4,5 He may have been a brother or cousin of Christian Radloff, born about 1826 in Prussia, who was listed in the 1880 Census in Washington Township, Sauk County, WI, and of Wilhelm Radloff, who was born about 1830 in Prussia, who was listed in the 1880 Census in Washington Township, Sauk County, WI. (Carl was listed as "Charles" in the 1870 Census.)

. He emigrated on 3 August 1866 from Preussen (Prussia).^1,6 He and his family emigrated from Hamburg on the ship "Dr. Barth." They arrived in New York City on 3 August 1866. He appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ His occupation was "Farmer." Charles appeared in the census in 1880 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ His surname was spelled "Radelif" and his occupation was listed as "Farmer." He died on 20 April 1900 at the age of 75 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,7,8 He was buried in Dorset Ridge, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,7 in the Immanuel German Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Karl Friedrich Wilhelm "Charles" RADLOFF and Caroline STEFFEN were married on 9 June 1853 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,7,9,10 According to the 1900 Census, they had 4 children, of whom 3 were living at the time. Caroline STEFFEN was born in April 1832 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,2,4,10 She emigrated on 3 August 1866 from Preussen (Prussia).^1,6,10 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ Caroline appeared in the census in 1880 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ Her household was next to that of her daughter Minnie and her family. She died in 1923 at the age of 91 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ Caroline was buried in 1923 in Dorset Ridge, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,7 in the Immanuel German Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Carl Friedrich Wilhelm RADLOFF was born on 23 January 1858 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ He was baptized on 31 January 1858 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ He died on 22 November 1867 at the age of 9.¹ Carl was buried on 26 November 1867 in Rottnow, Kreis Griefenberg, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹
