He appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ He died in 1924 at the age of 35.⁹ John was buried in 1924 in Kendall, Glendale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ in the Glendale Cemetery.

John Herman SCHULTZ and Mabel PETERSON were married.⁹ Mabel PETERSON was born about 1895 in Wisconsin.^20,30 (The Monroe County Index to Birth Registrations contains a listing for the birth of Mabel Harriet Peterson on 20 July 1894; that may have been her.)

(According to the 1930 Census, her parents were born in Norway.) She appeared in the census in 1930 in Suring, How Township, Oconto County, WI.³⁰
