20. Bernice REHBERG was born on 23 May 1913 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.²² She died on 13 August 2005 at the age of 92 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²²

Obituary Notes: "Bernice Ornes, 92, of Tomah, died on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Close to Home. She was born May 23, 1913, in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI, to Joseph and Charlotte (Graham) Rehberg. She was united in marriage to Stanley C. Ornes on March 22, 1936, in the Town of Adrian, WI; he preceded her in death on July 30, 1991. Bernice worked at the Tomah Cash Store for many years. She was the last Charter Member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

Bernice is survived by one daughter, Charlotte (Gary) Cleveland of Bismarck, ND; one son, David (Beverley) Ornes of Lone Tree, CO; one brother, Marshall (Wilda) Rehberg of Tomah; and five grandchildren, Paul, Wayne, Robert, Daley and Avery; five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Amy Rose, Diana and Steven; one great-great-grandchild, Kalei; a brother-in-law, Gordon (Alrita) Ornes of Norwalk, WI; and a sister-in-law, Irene Mitchell of Cashton. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, John Allen Ornes, and a sister, Edna Rehberg.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tomah. Pastor William Rice officiated. Burial followed at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah. Family and friends called on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home. Family and friends also called on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements."
She was buried on 17 August 2005 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²² in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Bernice REHBERG and Stanley C. ORNES were married on 22 March 1936 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.²² Stanley C. ORNES died on 30 July 1991.¹⁹
