Timothy ROOT Jr. and Mary HART were married on 6 December 1739 in Hartford, Hartford County, CT.¹ Mary HART, daughter of John HART and Esther GRIDLEY, was born on 9 March 1717 in Farmington Township, Hartford County, CT.¹ She died on 28 November 1797 at the age of 80.¹

344	ii.	Theodore ROOT was born on 17 July 1742.⁵ He died in 1830 at the age of 88.⁵
345	iii.	Esther ROOT was born on 9 July 1744 in Farmington Township, Hartford County, CT.⁵ She died on 19 May 1760 at the age of 15.⁵
