1276. Jennifer Eileen "Jenny" GRIGGS (~) was born on 15 March 1965 in Wiesbaden, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Germany.350 at the Wiesbaden Air Force Base Hospital.

. She was baptized in June 1965 in Darmstadt, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Germany.432 She was baptised at the Protestant Chapel by Chaplain (Major) Wesley Buck, along with a cousin, Scott Griggs. Her godparents were Scott's parents, Duaine and Vicki Robertson Griggs.

As she was growing up, she lived in Milwaukee, WI; the Detroit, MI suburbs; Eau Claire, WI; Auburn, AL; and Columbia, SC. She attended grade school at Christ the King Lutheran School in Southgate, MI; junior high school in Eau Claire; and high school in Auburn.

. She was confirmed on 29 April 1979 in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Township, Eau Claire County, WI.428 at Epiphany Lutheran Church. Her sponsors were Duaine and Vicki Griggs.

. Jenny graduated in June 1983 in Auburn, Lee County, AL.483 from Auburn High School. She graduated in June 1988 in Columbia, Richland County, SC.483,484 from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in social work.

After graduation, she worked at and managed several social services agencies in Columbia, SC; Asheville, NC; Eau Claire, WI; Chippewa Falls, WI, and Houlton, WI. For several years she served as the Director of the Voyagers Community Learning Center as well as the Director of the ATOD (alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse) prevention program for the Chippewa Falls school district. She later worked for the school district in a counseling role, while she pursued her Master's Degree in School Counseling.

. She graduated in May 2012 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.520 She received a Masters of Arts Degree in School Counseling from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, WI, at its campus in Chippewa Falls.

Jennifer Eileen "Jenny" GRIGGS (~) and Jay Archie ANDRESS (+) were married on 5 August 1989 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.478,484

After their marriage, they lived in Columbia, SC; Weaverville, NC; Burnsville, MN; Chippewa Falls, WI, and Houlton, WI. Jenny and Jay have always been actively involved in their children's church, school, scouting and sports programs.

Jay Archie ANDRESS (+), son of Archie Wallace ANDRESS and Anita Ann PELOQUIN, was born on 15 September 1963 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.118 He was baptized after 15 September 1963 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.484 His Godmother is Beverly Kremer, a sister of his paternal grandmother.

. He graduated in 1982 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.484 from Chippewa Falls High School. Jay graduated in 1986 in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Township, Eau Claire County, WI.484 from the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire. He earned a BBA degree in Marketing (1986) and a BA Degree in Health Care Administration (1997). He has worked in computer sales, banking, and as a manager of car rental agencies. For the first ten years that they lived in Chippewa Falls, he served as the Administrator of the Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm, WI. In January 2009, he became the director of another nursing home.

Benjamin Jon "Ben" ANDRESS (~)(+) was born on 1 February 1994 in Asheville, Buncombe County, NC.118 He was baptized on 2 April 1994 in Asheville, Buncombe County, NC.484 His Godparents are Alan and Janet Andress, Allison Lee and Greg Andress.

Ben has participated in activities such as cub scouts, soccer, baseball, basketball and his church youth programs. He also enjoys camping and boating with his family.

. He graduated in May 2012 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.521 from Chippewa Falls High School.

From an article in the Chippewa Herald about his earning a scholarship: "The Cardinal Spirit Scholarship is given to a senior who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and commitment to the Chippewa Falls community. Recipient of the $1,500 scholarship is Benjamin Andress. He played varsity basketball and coached Special Olympics basketball. He also enjoys technology and as a volunteer helped prepare the iPads used in the school district. He will be going to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in business administration and health care administration."

Hannah McKenzie ANDRESS (~)(+) was born on 5 December 1997 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.118 She was baptized on 29 March 1998 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.484 Her Godparents are Lindsey Andress and Ian Winger.

She loves to read and attend the library's reading program. She is also very active in sports, especially softball, tennis and basketball. "Chippewa Falls High School Student of the Week
A native of Chippewa Falls, Hannah Andress, daughter of Jay and Jennifer Andress is the Chi-Hi Student of the Week. She has two older brothers, Zach and Ben, and a dog, Bella. Her grandparents are Anita Andress and the late Archie Andress of Chippewa Falls and Gary and Barbara Griggs of Pawleys Island, South Carolina. She attended Hillcrest Elementary School, Chippewa Falls Middle School and is currently a senior at Chippewa Falls High School.
Hannah is a member of the National Honor Society, secretary of the National English Honor Society, Student Leadership Team, Living Leadership student instructor and Athena. She attended Badger Girls’ State over the summer and is a Youth Rotarian Student Representative. She has played the trumpet in both the Marching and Concert Band all four years of high school. She is a member of the Harmonics Combo and played in the pit orchestra for various school musicals. Hannah lettered in Women’s tennis all four years, was captain both her junior and senior year and advanced to sectionals her junior and senior year. She also is the team manager for the Men’s tennis.
During her high school career, Hannah has been a volunteer for “Parents4Learning” activities, a Voyager Program tennis class assistant, volunteered for “Light the Night” holiday decorating at Irvine Park and is a Special Olympic adult basketball coach. She likes to go on family vacations and their Packer Sunday trips. Recreational tennis and hanging out with friends are also tops on her list of fun things to do. Her favorite music is Indie Pop. Following graduation, she plans to major in education earning a degree in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) at UW River Falls.
