Nathan STOWELL and Sarah BUTTERFIELD were married about 1794 in Waitsfield Township, Washington County, VT.⁶⁵ They had 14 children. Sarah BUTTERFIELD was born on 4 July 1774 in Wilton Township, Hillsborough County, NH.⁶⁵ She died on 29 June 1848 at the age of 73 in Kishwankee Township, McHenry County, IL.⁶⁵
