She then became the Director of Communications for Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia.

After her son Ryan graduated from high school in June 2008, she realized her life-long dream of living and working in New York City. She began work for The General Convention Office of the Episcopal Church and served as the Staff Officer for Publications and Communications..

Between June 2008 and May 2009, she leased an apartment at 404 East 88th Street, midway between Central Park and the East River on the Upper East Side. Between June 2009 and October 2011, she leased an apartment at 33 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side. In October 2011, she moved to an apartment on 84th Street and Riverside Drive on the Upper West Side. In October 2019, she moved to a two-bedroom apartment on 90th Street on the Upper East Side.

She worked from the General Convention Office of the Episcopal Church from June 2008 until October 2009. She then took a position with Radian6, a Canadian-based software company that was formed in 2007. She was employee #60. Radian6 is a social networking company that developed a software program to allow companies to monitor and respond to public comments on the Internet about a companies' products and services. Her first position was Training Content Manager, but she later served as Training Services Manger and User Community Manager.

In April 2011, Radian6 was acquired by SalesForce.com, a $2 billion+ company headquartered in San Francisco. In September she was promoted to Senior Training Program Manager, Training and Support for the Radian6 division and continued to live in New York City. In that position, she traveled internationally to Australia and Holland, as well as throughout the United States.

In March 2012 she joined Velti, a $200 million sales international firm that was one of the world's leading companies in the Mobile Marketing Platform business. She became the company's Director, Velti Learning, and worked at their office on 5th Avenue in New York City.

In April 2013, she returned to SalesForce.com and served as the Director of Training for the Radian6 division. She worked in the company's New York City office, but also had assignments in England, France, Singapore and Australia. While on business trips, she traveled throughout Europe and Asia.

In July 2014, she was recruited to join Sailthru and served as the Director of Training and Documentation in the company's New York City office. The company is in the business of researching and supporting mobile phone Internet advertising by companies.

In October 2017, she was recruited to join Appboy as the Vice President of People in their New York City headquarters. In early-2018, the company changed its name to Braze. The firm is in the business of assisting companies with their digital marketing and growth strategies.

In late-2018, she was recruited to serve as the Chief People Officer at Persado, an Athens, Greece-based company specializing in Artificial Intelligence for companies around the world.

The focus of the research of the department to which he was assigned was brain cancer in children.

In April 2015, he took the United States Medical Licensing Examination, which is taken by all medical school students in the U.S. who have completed their 2nd year of medical school. The exam is "unanimously viewed as the most arduous and paramount examination a medical student will ever sit during his or her entire career. It has substantial bearing on the specialties and location a residency applicant is competitive for." He scored in the 99th percentile nationwide.
