49. Terence "Terry" RODEFER was born on 23 March 1950 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁵ He died on 9 March 2021 at the age of 70 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁵

Obituary Notes: "Terrance “Terry” K. Rodefer, 70, of Tomah, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital – Tomah.  He was born March 23, 1950 to Vern and Gwendeth (Rattle) Rodefer in Sparta.  He grew up in the Tomah area before he joined the United State Air Force. 

He was united in marriage to Linda Taylor on October 8, 1976 in Oahu, Hawaii.  Terry worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital for over 30 years in Tomah.  He started off in painting, worked as a police officer and ended back in the painting department.  He enjoyed working with his hand’s woodworking and painting at home.  He loved camping trips with his family, fishing for bullheads and catfish, and sitting around the fire having a beer.  Terry was a proud grandfather that loved teaching and teasing his grandchildren.  He was always thoughtful and caring.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda of Warrens, 2 daughters, Terri Falling Snow (Larry) Leis-Rodefer of Mauston, and Tammy, 2 grandchildren, Taylor and Memphis, a sister Nancy Daniels of Medford, 3 sisters-in-law Theoda (Larry) Shaitel of Tunnel City, Susan Rodefer of Ontario, and Nancy Rodefer, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son Terrence “Terry” Jr, 2 brothers, Vernon, and  Bernard “Bernie” Rodefer, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah.  Burial will be in the Warren-Mills Cemetery.
