Elizabeth Alwine Pauline "Lizzie" SCHEER was born on 26 December 1863 in Old Lebanon, Lebanon Township, Dodge County, WI.^10,26 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Lebanon Township, Dodge County, WI.¹⁴ She was listed as "Louise." She died on 12 December 1891 at the age of 27 in Monroe County, WI.²⁶ She died in childbirth. Lizzie was buried in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,2 in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery.

Elizabeth Alwine Pauline "Lizzie" SCHEER and Leopold "Leo" VIETH were married on 31 January 1884.^26,27 Leopold "Leo" VIETH, son of Heinrich Wilhelm VIETH and Friedrike Louise Ernistina NOTH, was born on 1 April 1865 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,21,26,28 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²² (He was listed as "Louis.") He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²¹ Leo appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,27 He was the enumerator for the 1900 Census in Ridgeville Township. He later became the Sheriff of Monroe County in the early-1900's. He died in 1916 at the age of 51.²⁶ He was buried in 1916 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery.

Elizabeth Alwine Pauline "Lizzie" SCHEER and Leopold "Leo" VIETH had the following children:

45	i.	Martha L. VIETH was born on 26 August 1886.²⁶ She died on 28 November 1887 at the age of 1.²⁶

47	iii.	Elizabeth VIETH was born in December 1891.²⁶ She died in December 1891 at the age of 0.²⁶ She was buried in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery.
