Julius Albert BIRKHOLZ was born on 2 January 1886 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^18,50,52 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ Between 1913 and 1916 he was a carpenter for the Milwaukee Road railroad in North Dakota. After 1916 Julius was a farmer in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁰ He died on 4 July 1935 at the age of 49.^50,107

Julius Albert BIRKHOLZ and Elizabeth A. THORSEN were married on 31 March 1913 in Selby, Walworth County, SD.^1,78 Elizabeth A. THORSEN, daughter of Bernard THORSEN and Anna PAULSEN, was born on 8 April 1893 in Stavanger, Norway.⁷⁸ She emigrated on 26 May 1905 from Stavanger, Norway.⁷⁸ She died on 27 March 1993 at the age of 99 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷⁸

"Ray" BIRKHOLZ was born on 22 August 1918 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.^78,92 He died on 10 January 1988 at the age of 69 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷⁸ He was buried in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁵ in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Cemetery.
