She was born on April 19, 1914, to Arthur and Marie (Schmeckel) Schoot in Tomah, WI. She is survived by her children, Corwin (Marlene) Tralmer of Mauston, WI, Luanne (Cyril) Hart of New Brighton, MN, Kathleen (Michael) Philps of Upland, CA, Sally Lindsey of Marietta, GA, and Art (Mary) Tralmer of Tomah, WI; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. She was preceded by her parents, Arthur and Marie; her husband, Sylvester; a son, Calvin Tralmer; a grandson, Paul Tralmer; a son-in-law, John Lindsey; and sisters, Georgia Prell and Lutrell Stupar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomah. The Very Rev. Steven J. Kachel will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Camp Douglas, WI. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends are also invited for visitation on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church."
