Obituary Notes: "Doris Emma Rabe, 86, of Tomah, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Shannondale Health Care Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She was born April 15, 1925, to Rudolph and Emma (Liersch) Graf in Clifton.

Doris was united in marriage to William E. Rabe Jan. 20, 1948. She was active in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Tomah community.
She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne (Ruben Melton) Leedy of Knoxville; daughter-in-law Kim Rabe of Holcombe; grandchildren Michael (Jessie) Rabe, Russel Rabe and Seth Leedy; great-grandchild James; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her son, Mark Rabe; son-in-law E. Dean Leedy; brother Russel Graf; sisters Fern Behrens and Orel Graf; brothers-in-law John Behrens and Richard and Charles Rabe; and sisters-in-law Marjorie Smith and Shirley Dietzman.
Doris worked as the accountant for the Tomah Co-op Oil Association for about 25 years, then worked as an accountant at Burnstad’s Market until retiring in 1987.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 4 p.m at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor David Dahl officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Family and friends called for visitation Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tomah."

Doris Emma GRAF and William Emil RABE Jr. were married on 20 January 1948.^84,105,106 William Emil RABE Jr., son of William Emil RABE and Agnes Ruth LARSON, was born on 6 October 1920 in Lewistown, Fergus County, MT.^106,107,108 (His obituary listed his birth place as Tomah.) He died on 18 November 2009 at the age of 89 in Knoxville, Knox County, TN.¹⁰⁶
