1. Karl Johann Heinrich "Charles" SCHULTZ was born in 1821 in Witzmitz, Kreis Regenwalde, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,2 He was christened on 23 September 1821 in Putzighauland, Kreis Czarnikau, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).3 He emigrated about 1859 from Preussen (Prussia).4,5 He and his family first lived in Canada for about three years, and then Caledonia, Wisconsin, between Waterloo and Lake Mills. They then settled in the Wilton area of Monroe County. (They cannot be located in America in the 1870 Census.) Charles appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.1 His household was next to that of his daughter Amelia and her family. His occupation was "Farmer." He died in 1888 at the age of 67 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.2,6 He was buried in 1888 in Dorset Ridge, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery.

Karl Johann Heinrich "Charles" SCHULTZ and Wilhelmine HAFERMANNN were married on 3 December 1843 in Brandenburg Province, Preussen (Prussia).3,4,5 Wilhelmine HAFERMANNN was born on 23 March 1823 in Witzmitz, Kreis Regenwalde, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,2,3,5 (Her surname may have been spelled "Havermann.") She appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.1

. She died on 23 July 1904 at the age of 81 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.3 Wilhelmine was buried in Dorset Ridge, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery.
