24. Paulina "Lena" SCHULTZ was born in February 1887 in Wisconsin.^1,12 She appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² She appeared in the census in 1920 in Madison, Dane County, WI.²⁰ Lena died on 4 September 1971 at the age of 84 in Wisconsin.^20,45

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Paulina Blomquist, 84, Adams, died Saturday (Sept. 4 1971) in a hospital after an illness. The former Paulina Schultz was married in 1916 to Edwin Blomquist. They lived in Madison until moving to Adams in 1921. He died in 1963.

She was a member of the B. F. of L. E., Arbulus Lodge, Adams; the Eastern Star, the Progressive and the Democratic Parties, and the Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are a son, James, Adams; a brother, Edward, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Roseberry Funeral Home, Friendship, where friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today."
