Her household was at 4910 Pennington Avenue and her occupation was Stenographer. Between 1943 and 1975 Marie was a secretary in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. for Western Electric Company. She died on 18 October 2002 at the age of 85 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. She was buried in Brooklyn Park, Anne Arundel County, MD. in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Marie Marcelle SERP and SSgt. Edwin NENADAL were married on 10 April 1943. SSgt. Edwin NENADAL was born in 1913 in Maryland. He died on 6 June 1944 at the age of 31 in Normandie, West Francia (France).

Obituary Notes: "Edwin served as a Staff Sergeant, 336th Engineer Combat Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 30, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a Policemen and/or detective and also as Single, without dependents.

Edwin was "Killed In Action" in the invasion of Normandy, France during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart."

Marie Marcelle SERP and Frank R. VITAK were married on 24 July 1952. Frank R. VITAK, son of Frank James Albert VITAK and Louise A. DOUSA, was born on 20 May 1917 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. The 1930 Census for Baltimore at 907 West Rose Street in the 7th Ward contains the household of Frank W. Vitak, age 46, born Maryland, occupation "Tailor, Clothing Factory"; his wife, Louise W., age 42, born Czechoslovakia; and their children: Frank R., 12; Albert V., 11; Marie L., 9; and Edward W., 5. That may have been Frank and his parents.

The family was also listed in the 1920 Census at the same address.)

Bohemia, married at age 25. The census indicates that they had 12 children before 1910, 7 of whom were living at the time. They may have been related to Frank.

The 1920 Census for Baltimore at 826 Chapel Street contains the household of John Vitak, age 33, born Maryland; his wife, Sophia, age 31, born Maryland; and their children: Richard, 7; Marie, 5; Josephine 3; and Irene, 2.

Living at 816 Chapel Street was the family of Joseph Vitak, age 45, born Bohemia; his wife, Anna, age 41, born Bohemia; they emigrated in 1881. The may also have been related to Frank.

Also, the Cesky-Narodni Hrbitov Bohemian National Cemetery in Baltimore contains the gravestone of Jacob C. Vitak (1891-1968) and his wife Betty (1891-1947). They may also have been related to Frank.) He appeared in the census in 1920 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. He appeared in the census in 1930 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. Frank appeared in the census in 1940 in Baltimore County, MD. He was living with his mother and his occupation was "Baker's Helper, Cake Bakery." Between about 1941 and 1975 he was a book binder in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. He bound medical books, bibles and other books for the American Bank Stationery Company. He died on 17 November 2005 at the age of 88 in Maryland. Obituary Notes: "On November 17, 2005, FRANK R. VITAK, beloved husband of the late Marie S. Vitak (nee Serp); devoted step-father of Christopher J. Nenadal; loving brother of Marie Lingner and the late Albert, Edward and John Vitak; dear brother-in-law of Myrle Vital; dear son of the late Frank and Louise Vitak (nee Dousa). Also survived by one nephew, one niece and several great-nieces.
