He appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ Jack appeared in the census in 1905 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ He was listed as "Johnnie." He was confirmed on 8 April 1906 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ Jack appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ He appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ In 1930 he was a rural mail carrier in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ Jack appeared in the census in 1950 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁹ His occupation was "Farmer, Farm." He died on 15 February 1951 at the age of 59.^2,9 He was buried on 18 February 1951 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^9,50 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Johann Albert August "Jack" PERGANDE and Mathilde A. "Tillie" SONNENBERG were married.^2,51 Mathilde A. "Tillie" SONNENBERG, daughter of Friedrich Herman SONNENBERG and Albertina GRUHLKE, was born on 9 December 1894 in Wisconsin.^15,18,50,51 (The Oak Grove Cemetery records list his birth year as 1895.) She appeared in the census in 1895 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁵ She appeared in the census in 1900 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ Her name was listed as "Tilla." Tillie appeared in the census in 1905 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ She was listed as "Otilia." She appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ Tillie appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ She appeared in the census in 1950 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁹ She died in 1959 at the age of 65.^50,51 Tillie was buried in 1959 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^9,50 in the Oak Grove Cemetery. (Near her gravestone are others stones marked "Father, Doulve Post, 1868-1926" and "Mother, Mary F., 1873-1931." It is not known what relationship, in any, these people are to Tillie.)
