30. Delbert Ralph PURPUS was born on 26 October 1919 in Monroe County, WI.⁷ He died on 11 August 1973 at the age of 53.^12,17 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Delbert Ralph PURPUS and Evelyn TRIEBER were married.^12,18 Evelyn TRIEBER was born on 23 January 1925.¹⁷ She died on 11 July 1992 at the age of 67.¹⁷ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

34	i.	Rydell PURPUS was born on 29 June 1959 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ He died on 9 May 2004 at the age of 44.¹⁹ Obituary Notes: "Rydell L. Purpus, 44, of Tomah, died Sunday, May 9, 2004. He was born June 21, 1959, to Delbert and Evelyn (Treiber) Purpus in Tomah. He attended Tomah Senior High School. He drove truck for Mail Delivery Services and for Keene's Transfer for 18 years. He also worked for Band Box Cleaners. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. He is survived by a brother Darrell (Mary) of Tomah; three sisters, Cheryl (Daniel) Brazie of Gulf Shores, AL, Carol (Roger) Kratche and Rochell (Douglas) Schultz, both of Tomah; three nieces and one nephew, Missy and Natasha Purpus, Danielle and Duane Brazie; two uncles, Reuben (Vange) Treiber of Hebron, ND, and Elmer (Verna) Purpus of Tomah; three aunts, Virginia (Eugene) Veil and Vivian (Roy) Bauer, both of Bismarck, ND, and Edna Eckelberg of Tomah; many cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arnell; a sister, Sharon Kay; his grandparents; an aunt; two uncles and three cousins. Funeral services were held today (Thursday), May 13, at 11 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 310 W. Elizabeth St., Tomah. Pastor Martha J. Hampton and Pastor William L. Rice officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Visitation was Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and at the church today from 10 a.m. until time of the service."
35	ii.	Arnell Lee PURPUS was born on 14 November 1961 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ He graduated in 1980 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ from Tomah High School. He died on 26 March 2003 at the age of 41 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ Arnell was buried on 29 March 2003 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
