3. Henry STREET was born on 25 June 1841 in Lincolnshire, Hampshire County, England.3,14,15,16 He emigrated in 1853 from Hampshire County, England.2,8,15,17,18,19 His obituary indicated that he emigrated to Baraboo with his father at the age of twelve, but a search of Immigrant Passenger Lists on Ancestry.com failed to locate Henry or his father. Also, a detailed search of the 1860 Census records for Sauk and Monroe counties failed to locate them; it is not known where they lived at the time. (The 1920 Census listed his emigration year as 1852.)

He served in the military between December 1863 and August 1865.20,21 He enlisted on 21 Dec 1863 and served in Company A, Wisconsin 19th Infantry Regiment. He mustered out on 9 Aug 1865 at Richmond, VA.

He was listed on the 1890 Veterans Census Schedule as having served as a Private.

Henry appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.9 His household consisted of himself and his wife, and his occupation was listed as "Farmer." The census was conducted on June 4th, and it was to have included all persons living in the household as of June 1st; it is not known why it did not include his oldest son, Frank, who was reportedly born on May 29th.

. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 His occupation was listed as "brick mason."

He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.5 His household was located at 604 Superior Avenue and his occupation was "Plasterer and Bricklayer." Also living in his household was Margery Puff, described as a "Ward," who was born in August 1890 in Wisconsin.

. Henry appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18 His household was at 604 Superior Avenue and his occupation was "Plasterer and Bricklayer."

. He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.17 His household was at 604 Superior Avenue and consisted of Henry, age 78, occupation "None;" his wife, Mary, age 68; and their granddaughter, Gladys Orr, age 23, occupation "Laborer, Tobacco Works."

. He died on 10 December 1923 at the age of 82 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.14,15,16

Obituary Notes: "Henry Street was born June 25th, 1841, at Hampshire, England. He came to Baraboo, Wis., with his father when about 12 years old. He served in the Civil War, Company A, 19th Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteers, returning home at the close of the war.

He was marred to Mary C. Kennedy on January 24th, 1867. To them were born four children, two of whom preceded their father in death, and two are living, Blanche May and Ben. Mr. Street has made his home in and around Tomah since his marriage.

He passed away at his home here at 10:20 A.M., Dec. 10, (of bright's disease) after being confined to his bed for about a week. He leaves to mourn his wife Mary C. Sweet, two children, Blanche and Ben, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13, by Rev. G. H. Willett. The Odd Fellows attended and had charge at the grave."

He was the Secretary of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Henry was buried on 13 December 1923 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.22 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Henry STREET and Mary Celinda KENNEDY were married on 24 January 1867 in Monroe County, WI.3,15,16 Her parents were the witnesses at their marriage. Mary Celinda KENNEDY, daughter of Benjamin KENNEDY and Emaline STEVENS, was born on 12 August 1851 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.14,16,19,23,24 on a farm between Tunnel City and Tomah.

(Her middle name may have been spelled "Celindia." The marriage registration record of her son Ben listed her given name as "Sylinda.")

(She and her parents could not be located in the 1860 Census.) She appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.9 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 Mary appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.5 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.17 Mary appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25 Her household at 604 Superior Avenue consisted of herself; her great-granddaughter, Ruth Griggs; her son, Ben; and his wife, Edith Cassity Street (sister of Tom Cassity). She died on 5 December 1938 at the age of 87 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.14,23 of hardening of the arteries and old age. She was buried on 8 December 1938 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.23 in the Oak Grove Cemetery

Frank Orvis "Orvy" STREET was born on 29 May 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.9,14 (He was not listed with his family during the 1870 Census, even though it was conducted on June 4th, a week after he was supposed to have been born.)

. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 He died before December 1923 at the age of 53.1,26 (According to his father's obituary, he preceded him death. He could not be located in the 1900 Census, so he may have died before then.)

He appeared in the census in May 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 He was one month old. He died on 11 December 1880 at the age of 0.1,27 George was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
