Wilhelm J. "William" SUMMERFIELD Sr. and Martha Amanda GOLDEN were married on 1 October 1865 in Monroe County, WI.^2,3 Martha Amanda GOLDEN, daughter of Newbound GOLDEN and Martha UNKNOWN (GOLDEN), was born on 2 May 1840 in Frankfort Township, Herkimer County, NY.¹ She died on 22 December 1918 at the age of 78.¹
