49. Rose Marie SERP was born on 12 May 1940 in Maryland. She appeared in the census in 1950 in Baltimore, Anne Arundel County, MD.

Rose Marie SERP and Ralph Martin OVERCASH were married on 2 August 1958 in Severna Park, Anne Arundel County, MD.

Newspaper Article: "Miss Rose Marie Serp, Glen Burnie. Md.. on Saturday afternoon became the bride of Ralph Martin Overcash, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Overcash, of near Cashtown, in a double-ring ceremony performed in the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, Severna Park, Md., at 2 o'clock.

The ceremony was performed by the assistant pastor of the church, the Rev. Bernard R. Hawley, before a gathering of nearly 100 friends and relatives. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frits Max Bock of Glen Burnie, was given in marriage by her uncle. Vincent Serio, of Glen Burnie. She wore a full-length, white lace gown with a scalloped neckline
and iridescent seguins.

The maid of honor was a sister of the bride, Miss Shirley Serp of Glen Burnie, and the bridesmaids were Miss Leota Stone, of Glen Burnie, and Miss Marge Posa, of New York City. The flower girl was Linda Quasney, Brooklyn Park. Md., a cousin of the bride. Soloist was Neal A. Cook, Glen Burnie. The best man was Edward Davidson, Linthicum, Md., and the ushers were Ralph Barra and Ray Mrozinskt both, of Glen Burnie.

After the ceremony there was a reception at Hie bride's home. Later the couple left for a wedding honeymoon in the Poconos. Upon their return they will reside in Ferndale, Md.

Mr. Overcash, who is a graduate of Gettysburg High School, graduated from the Penn State University Center at York with an associate degree in engineering. He is employed at Baltimore by Westinghouse. The bride is a Glen Burnie High School graduate.
