53. John Joseph "Jack" SERP Jr. was born on 31 January 1939 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. at 9:30 A.M. He was christened after 31 January 1939 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. He appeared in the census in 1940 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. Jack appeared in the census on 15 April 1950 in Curtis Bay, Baltimore (Independent City), MD. He lived in Curtis Bay, Baltimore (Independent City), MD in 1956. His residence was at 4916 Pennington Avenue and his occupation was "Clerk, Read's." He served in the military between 1956 and 1961. in the U. S. Marine Corps. Among other places, he was stationed at Parris Island, SC and in Okinawa. Between 1968 and 2004 Jack was a student records and imaging manager in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. for the Baltimore City school system, until he retired. He attended the University of Baltimore. He died on 7 October 2021 at the age of 82 in Towson, Baltimore County, MD. He died in his home on Chumleigh Road. He was buried on 13 October 2021 in Brooklyn Park, Anne Arundel County, MD. in the Holy Cross Cemetery (in the Holy Rood A Section). He is buried next to the gravesite of his father. The ashes of his wife, Susan, are in an urn in his casket.

Susan Ellen "Sue" WILKINSON, daughter of William Francis WILKINSON and Frances Mary MCFADDEN, was born on 27 March 1940 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. She appeared in the census in April 1940 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. (She was listed as "Sue Ellen.") She appeared in the census in 1950 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD. Sue died on 11 May 2009 at the age of 69 in Towson, Baltimore County, MD. Obituary Notes: "Serp , Susan E.  On May 11, 2009, Susan Ellen Wilkinson Serp; beloved wife of John Joseph Serp. Dear mother of Terry Ayres, Brian and Chris Serp and Tina Fisher. Dear grandmother of Joseph, Jessica, Oliver, Emma, Peter, Zachary, Kayla and Abbigail. Devoted sister of Frank Wilkinson.

Friends may call at family-owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, 6500 York Road (at Overbrook) on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A funeral mass will be offered Thursday 10 A.M at St. Mary's Govans. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stella Maris Hospice, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, MD, 21093." She was buried in Brooklyn Park, Anne Arundel County, MD. in the Holy Cross Cemetery (in the Holy Rood A Section). Her ashes are in an urn in the casket of her husband, Jack. They are buried next to the gravesite of Jack's father, John Serp, Sr.
