3. Auguste S. THOMPSON was born about 1841 in New York.^3,4

(She was not listed with the family in the 1850 Census. However, the census contained a daughter named "Sabrina," age 8, and that may have been Auguste.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She was living in the household of Horace and Lavina Weaver. Lavina was her birth mother and Horace was her step-father.. Her occupation was "Teacher, commercial school." She died on 3 July 1902 at the age of 61 in Waushara County, WI.²⁴

Auguste S. THOMPSON and William C. BRYANT were married on 4 July 1861 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^10,19,25 William C. BRYANT was born in Norwich, Chenango County, NY.²⁵
