David VICKERY II was born in March 1735 in Truro, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1,4 He was baptized on 26 March 1735 in Truro, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1 He died on 14 November 1823 at the age of 88 in Unity, Waldo County, ME.1,4 David was a Soldier. David served in the Revolutionary War. He enlisted in the 18th Continental Regiment stationed at Richmond on Kenebec in 1776. He was laid off because of a hip wound. He re-enlisted in 1777, was incapacitated again, but re-enlisted for three years in Captain Tisdale's Company, Col. John Greaton's Regiment. In the MA war records he is described as age---47, stature--5'9", complexion--dark hair, grey eyes, and occupation--seaman. After the Revolution, he moved with his family from Gorham, ME to Unity, ME in 1794. He was at Valley Forge, and was granted a pension in 1818. He also fought against the French and the Indians, serving in Loring Cushman's Cape Elizabeth Company. For this, he and his younger brother, Matthias, were given land grants.

David VICKERY II and Lydia ATWOOD were married on 6 March 1760.1,4 Lydia ATWOOD died about 1768.7

David VICKERY II and Sarah STONE were married on 26 October 1769 in Falmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1,4 They were married by the Reverend Ephraim Clark of Falmouth. Sarah STONE, daughter of Archelaus STONE and Sarah WESTON, was born in 1746.7 She died in 1830 at the age of 84.7
