4. Johann Wilhelm "John" WEGNER was born in September 1827 in Preussen (Prussia).6,10,11 (His surname was listed as "John Wagner" in the 1880 Census and as "John Wagener" in the 1900. He may have been a brother of Frederick J. Waegner, Sr., born May 1841 in Preussen, Germany. They both emigrated from Germany in 1869.) He emigrated in 1869 from Preussen (Prussia).11 He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.6 His household consisted of John, Henrietta and their children "Otelia," Frederick and Mary. John appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.11 He died in 1906 at the age of 79.12 He was buried in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.12 in the Pilgrim's Home Cemetery.

Johann Wilhelm "John" WEGNER and Henrietta BOECK were married about 1851 in Germany.10,11 According to the 1900 Census, they had been married 49 years and had 8 children, of which 5 were still living.
