He was a retired mechanic from a local Buick dealership and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 357 F.&.A.M. of Hobart, Ind., the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Izaak Walton League of Griffith, Ind., veteran of World War II serving in the 1848th Service Command Group and the Wisconsin National Guard, National Company d 107 QM, 32 Division. He is survived by his wife, Lee Williams; four sons, Jim (Joyce) Williams of Edgerton, Tom (Karen) Williams of Chesterfield, Va., Allen (Cindy) Williams of Minneapolis, Minn. and Sam (Sandy) Parker of Carefree, Ariz; one daughter, Carole (Richard) Love of Peoria, Ill.; one brother Dick Williams of Crown Point, Ind.; and three sisters, Virginia Griggs of Milwaukee, Helen Stark of Sparta, and Hazel Mesner of Tomah.
