She died Jan. 2, 1974 in a Sturgeon Bay hospital after an extended illness. She was married Nov. 13, 1954 to Leonard Bongle and had lived in Sturgeon Bay since 1963. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; three children, Cheryl and William, at home, and step-daughter, Mrs. Allen (Judy) Scharrer, Perrysburg, Ohio. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Glen Griggs, Milwaukee, Mrs. William Mesner, Tomah, and Mrs, Edwin Stark, Sparta, and three brothers, Dick and Harvey, Crown Point, Ind., and Clarence, Tomah. Her parents and two bothers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at the church. Interment was at Bayside Cemetery." Ruth Viola "Ruthie" WILLIAMS and Leonard J.
