Obituary Notes: "Arthur "Art" E. Williams, 63, of StillmanValley, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, after a sudden illness. He was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Tomah, Wis., son ofClarence K. and Margaret C. (Lobe) Williams. He graduated from Tomah High School and Rock Valley College.

Married Sharon Paulson on June 24, 1967, in Argyle. He worked 34 years for Amerock Corp. of Rockford,retiring in 1999.
He and his wife, Sharon, have lived in Stillman Valley for the past 25 years. He very much enjoyed his grandchildren, playing his guitar and doing woodworking. He also liked to go deer hunting with his brothers and listen to bluegrass and country western music. Survivors include wife, Sharon, three sons, Scott Williams of Palatine, Matthew (Lisa) Williams of Rockford and Jared (Jennifer) Williams of Winnebago six brothers, Edward (Shirley), Stanley (Elrida), Donald (Sherri), Robert (Phyllis), Ronald (Ann) and Larry Williams, all of Tomah; two sisters, Mary (Donald) Eagan and Carol (Richard) Tracchi, both of Tomah; five grandchildren, Alexander Earl Williams, Emma Lee Williams, Madison Noel Williams, Myla InezWilliams and Avery Claire Williams; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents brother, LaVerne and sister, Betty Ritter.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, in Kishwaukee Community Presbyterian Church near Stillman Valley, with the Rev. Trevor H.G. Smith, pastor, officiating. Burial in Kishwaukee Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 136 W. Roosevelt Road. Memorials have been established."
