37. Jonathan WILLIAMS was born on 20 February 1744 in East Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America.1

Jonathan Williams deeded his E. Haddam property on 19 Mar 1770 and removed to Nassau, Rensselaer Co., NY, where he was a large land owner.

"History of Rensselaer County" by Sylvester states: "Jonathan Williams came from Connecticut before the Revolutionary War and located in a log house. He engaged in farming and lived to an advanced age. Of his children, Lyman, Philip and Asa settled in the town (Nassau) on portions of the old homestead."

He died on 6 June 1832 at the age of 88 in North Nassau, Rensselaer County, NY.1

Jonathan WILLIAMS and Abigail BURR were married on 29 March 1764 in East Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America.1 Abigail BURR was born in 1749.1
