499. Judith "Judy" GAEDE was born on 30 October 1950 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁰⁶ She died on 25 March 2010 at the age of 59 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁰⁶

Obituary Notes: "Judith A. (nee Gaede) Huntington, 59, of French Island, formerly of Tomah, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at her home. She was born October 30, 1950, to Norman and Alpha Jean (Zellmer) Gaede at Sparta. Judy graduated from Tomah High School Class of 1968. After high school she went on to the La Crosse School of Beauty and Cosmetology. She moved to La Crosse where she continued as a hair stylist until her death. She owned and operated her current salon the Hair Update in La Crosse. Through the years Judy came to know many outstanding people and consider her beauty clients as her family. Her greatest passions were her family, spending time with her dog, Sofie, gardening and creating beautiful crafts. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be sadly missed by her family and by all those who know and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Norman and Alpha Jean Gaede of Tomah; one sister Debra Linehan of Onalaska; a niece, Melissa (TJ) Brown of Oak Creek; a great- nephew Emmitt Brown, of Oak Creek; her beloved dog, Sofie. She is furthered survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and her lifelong companion, Dale Huntington.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Linehan Jr.

Funeral services were held, Monday, March 29, 2010, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch officiated. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends called on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service."
