11. Francis Earl "Red" ZINGLER was born on 25 May 1915 in Monroe County, WI.^23,27,28 He died on 3 June 2002 at the age of 87 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁷ He was buried on 6 June 2002 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^21,22 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Francis Earl "Red" ZINGLER and Virgie Etta PURDY were married on 7 May 1941 in Dubuque, Dubuque County, IA.^27,28,30 (This is a copy of their Marriage Certificate.) Virgie Etta PURDY, daughter of Rupert Daniel PURDY and Julia E. FINNIGAN, was born on 9 March 1916 in Wisconsin.^9,28 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She died on 22 June 1991 at the age of 75.²²
