Scott Allen ZINGLER and Cindy Sue HANDY were married on 2 May 1987 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^37,40 Cindy Sue HANDY, daughter of Dean HANDY and Helen Eileen VON HADEN, was born on 1 November 1964 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Township, Milwaukee County, WI.³⁷ She died on 27 August 2010 at the age of 45 in Los Lunas, Valencia County, NM.⁴¹

Obituary Notes: "Cindy Sue Zingler, age 45, was called suddenly from this life on Friday, August 27, 2010, at her home in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Cindy was born November 1, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wis. She was the daughter of Dean and Helen (Von Haden) Handy of Tomah, Wis. She graduated from Tomah High School in 1983 and from Winona Area Technical Institute in 1984. Cindy married Scott Zingler on May 2, 1987, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomah. They commenced their married life in Alexandria, Va. They later moved to Xenia, Ohio, where their children Jake and Kailee were born. The family also resided in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, N.M., and San Antonio, Texas. Cindy had a kind and generous heart, loved to cook and bake and was a devoted mother and wife. She was a member of Shepherd Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. Cindy is survived by her husband Scott and her children Jake (19) and Kailee (16) of Los Lunas; her parents Dean and Helen Handy of Tomah; her sister Vicki (Mark) Gibson of Texas; her sister-in-law Kari (Daniel) Daul of Minnesota; her nephews Ben, Brandon, Logan and Carson; a special niece Jana Koboski; a special cousin Stacey Rezin; her father and mother-in-law Jim and Karen Zingler of Tomah; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Cindy’s name to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. There will be a memorial service in Tomah at a later date.
