Bernice died before November 2013 at the age of 94.142

Bernice Vivian PRELL and Arthur A. THIEMKE were married.95 Arthur A. THIEMKE was born in 1912.228 He died in 1969 at the age of 57.228 He was buried in 1969 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.228 in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Gerald George THIEMKE was born on 27 April 1945 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.53 He died on 9 July 2008 at the age of 63 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.53,229

Obituary Notes: "Gerald G. Thiemke, 63, of Tomah, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Tomah Memorial Hospital. He was born April 27, 1945, to Arthur and Bernice (Prell) Thiemke in Sparta. He worked several years for Equity Livestock and also farmed for many years on the family farm.

Gerald enjoyed local history and was a Monroe County historian. He worked on the Civil War Book Committee and was a member of the Monroe Juneau Jackson County Genealogical Workshop serving as treasurer. He also was currently serving on the Oakdale sesquicentennial celebration committee.

He is survived by his mother, Bernice Thiemke of Tomah; a brother, Bruce (Kathy) of Endeavor; two nieces, Kristin (Christopher) Cushing of Palatine, IL, and Susan (Michael) Dettmann of Watertown; two nephews, Daniel (Luciana) Thiemke of Sun Prairie and Steven (Jacque) Thiemke of Oshkosh; five grand-nieces and grand-nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends from the Historical Society and Genealogical Workshop.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah. Burial will be in the Warren-Mills Cemetery."
