He appeared in the census in 1900 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He was living with his parents. He died on 1 January 1946 at the age of 66 in Hustler, Juneau County, WI.^26,90 William was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,27 in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Indian Creek.

Leopold Wilhelm "William" REISENAUER and Clara Matilda MILLER were married on 30 October 1901 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^22,26,28 The witnesses at their marriage were Willie Miller and Carl Reisenauer. Clara Matilda MILLER was born on 1 November 1881 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ She died on 15 December 1949 at the age of 68 in Juneau County, WI.²⁶
