Ralph Edward REISENAUER was born on 8 September 1914 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁹ He was living with his parents. He appeared in the census in 1930 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ Ralph graduated in 1933 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³⁸ from Tomah High School. He died on 11 March 2001 at the age of 86 in West Allis, Milwaukee County, WI.^26,186

Grandfather of Jeff, Carolyn, David, Darin, Matthew. Further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ralph's wife, Esther, said that there wasn't a thing he wouldn't try. He started to water ski when he was 46. He was very much like his dad. Uncle Jack was always the one who was quick to get into a fight, and quick with his fists--although all those Reisenauer boys were alike in that respect. Their dad would always ask, 'Any fights boys?' when they would come home from a dance. Plus he (grandpa) was the one who would take on any guy who dared to even look at his Mary! I guess that's how the label, 'Fighting Reisenauers,' originated. I also suspect that Leopold, the immigrant, was of the same temperament as Ralph--which is why he struck out for America at the first opportunity. He was buried on 17 March 2001 in Brookfield, Waukesha County, WI.¹⁸⁶ in the Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery. Ralph was a general contractor--cement, mason, carpentry in West Allis, Milwaukee County, WI.¹⁸⁶

Ralph Edward REISENAUER and Esther Martha SOLBERG were married on 30 June 1941 in Mauston, Juneau County, WI.^26,186 in St. Patrick's Church. Esther Martha SOLBERG, daughter of Harold Edwin "Harry" SOLBERG and Rose DLASK, was born on 24 February 1918 in Mauston, Juneau County, WI.¹⁸⁶ She graduated in 1936 in Mauston, Juneau County, WI.¹⁸⁶
