Alice Mae VON HADEN was born on 31 October 1928 in Tunnel City, Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,18,160 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ She appeared in the census in 1940 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶⁸ Alice died on 30 March 2013 at the age of 84 in Shawano, Shawano County, WI.¹⁶⁰

Obituary Notes: "Alice Mae (Von Haden) Janssen, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Shawano. She was born on Oct. 31, 1928, in Tunnel City, to Albert and Laurella Von Haden. On June 25, 1946, Alice was married to Lee Janssen.

She was preceded in death by Lee; her parents, Albert and Laurella; brother, Howard; and daughter-in-law, Teri.
Alice loved to travel the world. She dedicated much of her life to family, and in particular, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to honor Alice’s memory include her children, Ruth Bonner, Dianne (Ron) Schmidt, Neal Janssen and David (Karen) Janssen; niece, LaVona (Robert) Grissinger; grandchildren, Eric (Suzanne), Marc (Erica), James (Ashley), Scott (Jennifer), Katelyn, David, Jamie and Joseph (Eileen); and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place for the immediate family and close friends at Greenfield Cemetery in Tunnel City.
