Dwight VON HADEN and Susan Marie KOBLESKA were married on 21 June 1975 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.248,310 Susan Marie KOBLESKA, daughter of William Herman KOBLESKA and Ruby Ione ECKELBERG, was born on 28 April 1955 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.310,311 She died on 28 July 2021 at the age of 66 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.310 Obituary Notes: "Susan M. Von Haden, 66 of Tomah passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Tomah Health after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 28, 1955, to William, Sr and Ruby (Eckelberg) Kobleska in Tomah and baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Indian Creek. Sue was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1973.

On June 21, 1975, she united in marriage to Dwight Von Haden at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomah. Residing in Rochester, MN for a few years, Sue and Dwight returned to Tomah in 1981. She worked for Tomah Memorial Hospital, and for over 35 years as a library aide for Miller Elementary School, retiring in 2020. Sue loved teaching children, especially during her time teaching Sunday School. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren deeply, always sending them off with a special message to “be careful”, although, she knew the Lord’s ever watching eyes would keep those she loved safe. Her unwavering faith in Christ guided her as she raised her family as well as assisted and taught countless children throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight of Tomah, children, Mark (Megan) Von Haden of Tomah, Erik (Michelle) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Kari (John) Duehlmeyer of Tomah, grandchildren, Mason, Grant, Brynn, Aliya, Robert “Robbie”, Madelynn “Maddie” and MaKenley, her mother, Ruby Butterfuss, her mother-in-law, Leona Von Haden, a brother, William, Jr (Kathy) Kobleska, Tomah, sisters, Ann (Kenneth) Franks of Norwalk, Karen (Raymond) Snowberry of Tomah, Jean (James) Korthals of Viroqua, Carolyn (Donald) Mautino of Tomah, and Denise (Raymond) Berent of Camp Douglas, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nancy (Tom) Squires, Sandra (Steve) Protz, Pamela (Robert) Williams, Lon (Sue) Von Haden, Scott (Tina) Von Haden, and Jeffrey (Wendy) Von Haden. She is further survived by countless nieces, nephews, stepbrother and stepsisters, other relatives, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William, Sr., stepfather, Leonard Butterfuss, her father-in-law, Donald Von Haden and an infant brother-in-law, Mark.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, 11:00 AM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Korey van Kampen will officiate. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Sunday, August 1. 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service."
