(Kaiser) Wagner, 88, of Tomah, passed away June 25, 2010, at Tomah Memorial Hospital. She was born May 29, 1922, to William and Bessie (Wood) Kaiser in Sparta, Wis. She was united in marriage to Byron D. Wagner on December 23, 1939, in the town of Wellington, by Pastor Paul Monhardt. They moved to Michigan and later moved back to the area where they farmed. Lucy enjoyed putting together puzzles, sewing, fishing, shaking dice, playing cards, slot machines, baking and visiting with friends and relatives. Lucy was a loving mother of six, two sons: Donald Lee (Cathy) of Beaver Dam, and Ronald Richard (Cindi) of Tomah; four daughters: Barbara Jean (Tim) Doyle of Minnetonka, Minn., Delores Ann (Floyd) Hayes of Evansville, Karon Marie (Kerry) Keene and Linda Kaye (Larry) Siekert, all of Tomah. She was also a very loving grandmother of 22: Donna, David, Debbie, Denise, Vince, Julie, Gloria, Jeffrey, Vicki, Mitzy, Anita, Theresa, Jerry, Sarah, Heath, Wade, Garrett, Jody, Jamie, Kimberly, Larry Jr., “Skeeter” and Rae Ann. She is further survived by several great and great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a special friend Steve Hensely of Tomah. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron on May 4, 1997, ten brothers and one sister, two grandsons: Robert Knutson, Jr, and B.J. Peardot (Siekert). Funeral services, will be held Monday, June 28, 2010, 1:30 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah, Pastor Edwin W. Stigen will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tomah. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until time of the service.
