Edward ANDRESS (+) was born on 22 April 1812 in Leeds and The Thousand Islands Township, Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ Before 1889 he was a sawyer and waggonmaker in Leeds and The Thousand Islands Township, Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ He was a boss carpenter at many timber frame barns built in his area. He died on 17 June 1889 at the age of 77 in Front of Yonge Township, Leeds and Grenville Counties, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ Edward was buried in Mallorytown, Leeds and Grenville Counties, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ in the Yonge Mills Cemetery (Stone #111). This is the record of his death.

Edward ANDRESS (+) and Charlotte Elizabeth HODGE (+) were married on 5 May 1835 in Mallorytown, Leeds and Grenville Counties, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ Charlotte Elizabeth HODGE (+), daughter of Francis Roland HODGE and Mary HARRISON, was born on 18 April 1815 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.^6,23 (The 1920 Census for her son Thomas listed her birthplace as Canada.) She died on 16 January 1898 at the age of 82 in Mallorytown, Leeds and Grenville Counties, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ She was buried in Mallorytown, Leeds and Grenville Counties, Ontario Province, Canada.⁶ in the Yonge Mills Cemetery (Stone #111).
