He removed to Fairfield soon after and became one of the Bankside farmers, where his home-lot of ten acres lay west of Daniel Frost's. He made his will on 6 June 1660, which was probated 5 March 1662. In his will he gave to his son Thomas 5 acres of land at Bankside and a piece of land in his home-lot to set a house upon; a gun barrel and a stock. To son John 3 acres of the lower end of his home-lot and a piece of land 4 rods wide, with a house upon it, provided he allowed his mother the use of another house as good, 3 acres of meadow, called the heather-bite and a gun. To son Jeremiah a rapier, a staff and 20 shillings. To son Abraham 20 shillings. To daughters Mary, Hester, Rebecca and Ruth 10 shillings each when 18 years of age. To John Crampton, husband of his daughter Hannah, 3 rods of land in his home-lot near his house, provided he fenced it all around with a five rail fence. To granddaughter Hannah Crampton 20 shillings. To his wife Anna, house, land and the remainder of his estate. He made Dr. Thomas Pell overseer of his estate. Jeremiah Andrews lived in Stamford and died about 1713."
