He was baptized on 18 June 1924 in Monroe County, WI.²⁴⁶ He appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁸ Bootie died on 10 April 1988 at the age of 63.^8,145 He was buried on 23 April 1988 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,145 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. He was cremated.

Lloyd Maynard "Bootie" PERGANDE and Arlene Arabelle "Lena" WILDES were married on 27 November 1943 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^21,31,249 Arlene Arabelle "Lena" WILDES, daughter of John S. WILDES and Marie Angeline JENSEN, was born on 22 September 1925 in Glendale Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,31,48 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Glendale Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁸ She lived at her home in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI in January 2002.²⁹ Lena died on 29 March 2007 at the age of 81 in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson County, WI.³¹

Obituary Notes: "Arlene A. “Lena” Pergande, age 81, of Milton, formerly of Janesville and Norwalk, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Golden Living Center, Fort Atkinson. She was born in Glendale Township, Monroe County, near Kendall, WI, on Sept. 22, 1925, the daughter of John and Marie (Jensen) Wildes. Arlene graduated from Wilton High School in 1943 and trained to be a nurse’s aide. She married Lloyd M. “Bootie” Pergande on Nov. 27, 1943, in Ridgeville, WI. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1988. Arlene and Lloyd moved to the Janesville/Milton area in 1954. She was employed as a Home Health Nurse at the Visiting Nurse Association.

She is survived by her five children: Gary (Carolyn) Pergande and Jeffrey (Jan) Pergande, both of Janesville, John Pergande of Madison, SuAnne (Carl) Alessandro of California and Kathy (Keith) Hammen of Cambridge; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Terrence and David Pergande; one brother, John Wildes, and two sisters, Grace Ludeking and Gwen Zellmer.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 4, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Ridgeville. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Schneider Apfel Schneider & Schneider Funeral Home, Janesville, and from 11:30 a.m. until time of the service on Wednesday, April 4, at the church in Ridgeville."

She was buried on 4 April 2007 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.³¹ in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
