He emigrated in 1886 from Strozevo, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).³ on the vessel Columbia from Hamburg. He arrived in New York on 4 April 1866 and first moved to Milwaukee. He was Lutheran in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^4,7 and was listed on the Memberbership Roster of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Adolph appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ He died on 29 May 1937 at the age of 80 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^9,10 He was buried in 1937 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Church Cemetery.
